We're proud to be launching this years Cuvee release with Burning Sky's Head brewer Mark Tranter. Nestled on an estate on the South Downs Burning Sky produce punchy hopped pales and the funkiest Belgian inspired beers in the U.K.
Some would say that they are a brewery without the hype or fuss of those using cans and creating milkshake IPAs, but they are the name of the lips of authentic beer lovers. They have an unfettered ambition centred by a desire to create #WorldClass beer. They were one of the first craft brewery in the UK to install oak foudres for ageing beers in. The beginning of 2017 saw Burning Sky install a bespoke coolship in a restored barn on the estate. We saw the first fruits of their labour in 2018 as they marked their 5th birthday by releasing their first Coolship beer.
Cuvee is crafted using their best Saison à la Provision from Foudre no. 1 and from a number of Chardonnay barriques, it's then blended with a large portion of Lambic, imported from Belgium that has been ageing at Burning Sky. Mark will be there to discuss the process and talk about the brewery.
Can't wait till December to try Cuvee, we have some of the 2017 vintage here!
