Farm-to-barrel brewing is about selecting the best in locally sourced fruit and blending it into beers: this is the ethos of The Almanac Beer Company. With humble home brewing origins, Jesse Friedman and Damian Fagan founded the brewery in 2010. Each harvest they partner with a different Northern Californian farm to supply the fruit used for their next brew. Almanac are dedicated to producing seasonal artisan ales, brewed specifically to complement local cuisine sourced and prepared with the same great care and craft. All of the brewery’s base recipes are rooted in, but not limited to, classic beer styles and brewed in small batches. Almanac beers are excellent fresh, or can be cellared for years to allow the flavours to evolve in the bottle.
