Buxton Brewery’s first ever brew in 2009 was a pale ale, and a long way off what Geoff Quinn had in mind. Within 12 months, with recipes tweaked and brewers’ brains picked, Buxton went commercial, brewing as cuckoos. Buxton established its current brewhouse in 2013, making upwards of 30 distinct brews, with special editions both planned and in its back-catalogue. Innovation and super-high quality are the prime goals, along with a nod to tradition and an almost maniacal attention to detail. Inspired by the landscape that surrounds it in the beautiful Peak District, where possible Buxton use local ingredients. We love Buxton’s classics such as Axe Edge, Imperial Black and their exciting Ice Cream series with Omnipollo.
