Thornbridge: Bracia 10% [500ml]
They say "From the Thornbridge Hall range, this beer will be brewed only four times a year in limited quantities. Bracia uses chestnut honey to produce a rich, dark, unique beer. Named after a Celtic brew from the Iron age; little is known about the original style except it was high in alcohol, brewed with cereals and, most probably, honey. The mouthfeel is velvety and rich, with notes of coffee, chocolate, liquorice and hazelnuts with warming alcohol, cocoa and a little peat in the finish. "
We say "Part of our cellaring program Bracica will have developed in flavour. The sweet earthiness of the chestnut honey combines with toasted, coffee, chocolate and dark fruit flavours. A perfect beer after a bracing walk in the cold."
